Picture this. Chicago. 1920's. The streets are empty, but listen closely and you might hear an upbeat rhythm that permeates the cold streets. A breath of livelihood, seeps from the cracks of the historic buildings. In it, an essence of tobacco. The soothing sweet notes of vanilla and cherry combine together, creating a mature musk. Men wearing suits sit around a table. The table is filled with expensive jewelry, contrasted by the stacks of money intertwined with red and black suits of high risk stakes. The guards at the door carry their Tommy Guns, on the prowl for anyone who shouldn't be there. Outlining the border of the room are large, dense brown barrels responsible for all of this.
In the next room over, the loud upbeat music is muffled through the concrete bricks. The outside world will never hear the cheers of laughter, the flirty environment with flappers tapping their feet and the cubes of ice clinging inside the diamond glasses. The bar keep finishes cleaning out a glass, pours a few ounces of liquor and slides it down to the man, guarded on all sides. He then offers this delicacy to another and with a handshake they clink glasses and enjoy cheers. Through all the smoke and dim lighting, the weak illumination reflects against the metal clipped to the man's chest. It reads Chief. This is the Speakeasy.

A welcome addition to my shave routine.
If I had to use two words to describe this soap, I would choose smooth and silky. The lather builds beautifully with a small amount of water, and provides excellent coverage and comfort.
The scent is as smooth as the lather, with a symphony of vanilla and a note of cherry that caresses rather than overpowers, and a scent of tobacco that is subtle without being understated.
The aftershave compliments the soap wonderfully, the witch hazel providing a decent bite while remaining gentle on sensitive skin.
Definitely one of my top soaps. 10/10 would recommend.
